How to lose the dark circles

We all get them, especially at this time of year when we are tired and cold and don't generally do as much exercise as we probably should be doing - i know I'm guilty!
With summer not far away we thought that it would be helpful to share some tips with you on how to reduce those tired, puffy eyes by making some small changes that you can gradually incorporate into your daily routines, by summer time you will be bright eyed and bushy tailed, promise!

So, what causes these annoying shadows? Well, unlike the rest of our face, the skin around our eyes has no oil glands in it and it is a much finer, thinner texture meaning that it requires a lot more TLC than the rest of our

skin, failure to do so results in the early signs or ageing which comes in the form of puffiness and dark circles - not cute!

So what can we do? YOU can reduce the dark circles and puffiness by making positive changes in your lifestyle, follow our tips and you will have sparkly eyes in no time. (p.s - you have our permission to flirt all

you want with them!)

> SLEEP: Beauty sleep is not a myth girls! Your body needs it to repair itself over night and to rest your sleepy eyes, we think 8 hours is perfect!

> EXERCISE: You don’t need to go overboard but daily exercises that get your heart rate up really do get the oxygen and blood circulating around your body which helps drain out any puffiness.

> FOOD: Listen to Popeye.. eat your greens! Juice them, salad them, steam them - do what you want with them just get them down you!

>REMEDY#1: Cucumber is brilliant at soothing puffiness, mainly because it is water based. So sit back with two slices on your eyes and relax for 15 minutes (think about shoes)

>REMEDY#2: Rose water and cucumber juice is another great one, mix the two together and then dunk some contain wool balls in and leave on your peepers for 15 minutes before rinsing with cool water. Voila! :-)

>BE CAREFUL: When applying harsher products such as face masks, always ensure that you leave plenty of room around the delicate eye area, these are far too harsh for near your eyes.

>MAKEUP: Again with regards to being careful, always make sure when removing eye make up that you are not tugging at the skin, keep it gentle. :-)
